Scope of service

Rock Chip Fix performs mobile windshield rock chip repair only. We do not perform full windshield replacement, and we do not service door glass or back glass. If your damage falls outside our repair criteria, we will tell you and help point you toward next steps.

Repair criteria

We can generally repair damage that is smaller than a quarter, where any crack is shorter than 6 inches, the damage is not directly in the driver's line of sight, and it is not within about 2 inches of the windshield edge. Final eligibility is determined on-site by the technician.

Estimates and pricing

Prices shown on this site and in the estimate tool are estimates based on the information you provide. Self-pay pricing is $65 for the first chip and $35 for each additional chip on the same vehicle. The final chip count and price are confirmed on-site before work begins.

Insurance claims

Most comprehensive auto policies cover chip repair with no out-of-pocket deductible, and we will file the claim on your behalf when you ask. Coverage is determined by your insurer and your policy, not by us. If your carrier declines the claim, self-pay pricing applies.

No warranty

Windshield chip repair improves appearance and is intended to stop damage from spreading, but results vary with the age, depth, and contamination of the break. Rock Chip Fix does not currently offer a warranty or guarantee on repair outcomes. If you have concerns after your repair, reach out and we will take a look.

Scheduling and access

Because service is mobile, we need safe, legal access to your vehicle and reasonable weather conditions. Appointments may be rescheduled for weather or safety.
